Started The Agency Los Cabos (now The Agency Baja) Real Estate Brokerage in 2016 his goal was always to act as the Vanguard of what was expected by homebuyers and sellers in Los Cabos.

With more than $1 Billion dollars in total transaction volume since its inception, it was only sensible to expand The Agency Baja’s offering to better serve direct clients and other community members with an all-encompassing service to help protect and grow the value of their assets.

Born in Mexico, in the state of Sonora, Johel spent most of his childhood and teenage years in California where he was influenced by a mixture of American and Mexican culture. Throughout the 90’s Johel became fluent in both English and Spanish along with the American education system.

In 2000, Johel returned to Mexico City and worked in Customer Service for Nextel Communications, and later as the Customer Service Manager for GMAC Mortgage.

In 2013, Johel decided to move once more, to sunny Los Cabos, and entered the exciting Travel and Leisure industry, finding what he now believes is his true calling. Working with Secrets Resort, and later One Homes in Medano Beach, Johel serviced High-Net-Worth Individuals on both the Owner/Guest side of the business, learning skills to service both needs and to deliver top-tier service in all facets of the hospitality business.

Now, with over 25 years working in high-touch Customer and Guest Services, Johel is an integral part of the Hospitality team at The Agency Baja.

Born in Mexico City, Daniel brings a multidisciplinary perspective that bridges architecture, construction, and real estate investment. Trained as an architect, he began his career working closely with design and construction teams, gaining hands-on exposure to the early stages of projects and a solid understanding of how built environments are conceived, developed, and ultimately transformed into income-generating assets.

Over time, Daniel transitioned toward the investment side of the sector, complementing his technical foundation with financial analysis, asset management, and the strategic evaluation of real estate projects. His experience focuses on maximizing asset value through rental strategies, with particular expertise in vacation rentals across prime destinations in Mexico. This operational exposure has strengthened his ability to align property positioning, pricing, and client targeting with revenue optimization objectives. Daniel further enhanced his profile with a Master’s degree in Real Estate.

He joined The Agency with a strong commitment to maximizing client revenues, optimizing asset performance, and positioning each listing to reach the right audience through firsthand knowledge and experience of the properties themselves.
